TEMPERATURE

Lumar
Electronique has released to manufacture a new generation of
temperature monitoring equipment . The TAMAR-S2 features
a robust construction for commercial and industrial use, accurate
temperature measurement, two or four independent
channels and a user friendly interface. As its predecessor,
the TAMAR-S2 is equipped with and LCD display, a keyboard, visual
indicator and dry contact relays for reporting the alarms and
controlling external devices.
The unit also monitors the AC power line and generates an alarm when
there is a power failure.
REMOTE
ACCESS
The TAMAR-S2 can be supplied with an optional
serial interface allowing full control and monitoring from a
standard PC.The TAMAR-S2 can also be
purchased with an optional built in modem to allow full control and
monitoring from a remote location. The
modem option supports also call
back function to provide automatic alarm reporting to
the host computer. When
equipped with one of the remote access options, the TAMAR-S2
is delivered with TAMARVIEW, a software providing
a full graphical interface to the TAMAR-S2. The TAMARVIEW features:

Remote
access to one or many TAMAR-S2 (with the Modem option)

Display
all the parameters of the TAMAR-S2 and the status of all the
channels on a single screen..

Generate
a log file of all events.

Allow
modifications of the parameters.

English
and French languages are supported (other languages availabled as
an option).

Audible

Manual
or automatic call to remote TAMAR-S2 (with the modem option)

Accept
calls from remote TAMAR-S2 (with the modem option).

Report
temperature alarms and AC power failure.

Email, SMS when a permanent Internet connection is available.
The
TAMAR-S2 is powered from a standard wall transformer. In case of
power failure, a rechargeable battery provides an autonomy of 24
hours.
The
TAMAR-S2 has been designed to
provide an efficient and reliable mean of monitoring temperature in
freezers, refrigerators, green houses or in any other environment
where temperature monitoring is a must.

With a TAMAR-S2 equipped with the modem option, you can be quiet.
The TAMAR-S2 will dial up your computer whenever there is a
temperature alarm or a power failure. If your computer has a
permanent Internet connection, the TAMARVIEW will automatically send
an email and/or a SMS to one or multiple destinations to reports the
alarms. You will receive the alarms directly on you mobile phone and/or
via email.
